So please forgive me for the stupid (and possibly offtopic) question.... with this USB to VGA adaptor the Opencockpits CDU (http://www.opencockpits.com/catalog/b737-mounted-ready-p-197.html?cPath=22_61) will not need an extra VGA port, which BTW I do not have ?

Open Cockpits CDU needs a TV port, not a VGA port unfortunately.

BrynAgain, I will take the risk of a stupid question.... Let's suppose that a dual DVI port video cart with a TVout port also, already uses both DVI ports for external visual and MIP. Can the OpenCockpits be connected to the TVout port anmd work ?
Is there any adaptor that could transform the TVout signal to a USB one ?
Thanks
Nick

Has anyone tried these or similar adapters? Lots of them on ebay for approx £35. I would like to use one to run a Dell 15"monitor displaying the EICAS panel.
Running Windows 7, FS9. IFly 737
I already am using a Mimo 7" USB Mini Monitor for this purpose but it is a little small for my MIP so was thinking of the above adapters.
The vendor from ebay says that they are compatible with Windows 7.
Thanks for any help.
