Hey guys, I'm not sure wether this question has been done to death but I can't find anything on these particular pushbuttons. Can I connect these pushbuttons with built in Leds to leo Bodnar's Buo386x card.
4291I don't need anything fancy to happen, just when push the button once it latches and the led comes on and say the the center fuel pump comes on. Push it again and the led goes out and the center fuel pump goes off. Does anyone know if this is possible with this card? I want to use it on the leveld767 overhead.
Thanks
Drewsta

Hi,
Yes, connect it as follows:
+5V -====- [+LED-] -====- B1 -====- [switch] -====- GND
B1 is a button terminal input and has two wires. +5V and GND are any terminals marked as such on BU0836X.
Make sure you that you use current limiting resistor (around 300-600 Ohms) in series with the LED if the switch does not have one inside!
Cheers

Hi Leo, thanks for your reply mate. A couple of questions as I've never used any form of I/O card before. Would you happen to have an easy to follow diagram or be able to point me to one? Also which 5v connection do I use, any one? Can I put some sort of long connector attached to the 5v pin so that i can connect all the leds into the connector that can be connected to the 5v pin? Also I would like to buy more than 1 card, can i use more than 1 card on the sim?
Thanks for your time

I plan on using 2 or 3 BUO386x cards on a single project and was wondering about giving different names to the cards in WindowsXP game controller ?
or does fsuipc do that?
i read in a previous thread that a person could order cards with a custom name. If so, how would I go about that?
Thanks much .
