I've got a small 7 "- Digital picture frames as a promotional gift and really did not know what to do with it.

So I loaded Airportcharts and checklist in my PDF viewer and saved as JPG-Screenshot. These go through a small memory card (USB stick is also to be read from the device) and you're done.
I can scroll through the documents on the Frame and also by remote control, can move the individual documents to 16x zoom, and zoomed to the area.

The quality is absolutely useful.

Important note: has no effect on the Framrate: :p

That is an excellent idea. I have been looking at the iPad, Nook, etc type of devices. One of the ideas I had to use it was just that. I never thought of a electronic picture frame.

Thanks

I have a Chinesse Ipad that might be suited for you it has a 7inch screen with ANDROID operating system!! It is amazing you can view any types of files and videos!! You could easilly use it as an electronic flight bag and can do multitasking like for example play music while you fly!! Plus it has wifi and all that stuff and USB conectivity!! If youa re interested I can send you pics I bought it in may but I have no use for it now recently bought a Blackberry that is enough for me!! It has protective case and a 4GB memory! Will let go Cheap!
