After looking into a thread and noticing some bogus post and bogus members, I decided to sit here for a while and follow some of these post and boy what did I discover...a lot!
First, these bogus members have been on MYC for a while, some back as far as Feb 2010. What they did was make a bunch of accounts and then start threads. They'll use like three of these bogus members to make replys in the threads, that almost look legit. They're wording that appears within the replys seem to reference what is talked about. You'll notice that they even sometimes copy what an actual legit member has said and use it for themselves.
Second, these bogus members are placing blue or white hyperlinks at the bottom that might say something like:
r4i gold cards
ibiza flights
thompson late deals
live dealer casinos
something in arabic (looks like that)
kitchen
Well, If you keep going further, you'll find that they might sound as if they have bad english skills, to make you believe what they're saying is important, but because of the bad english you'll overlook it. Or, they even have good english skills, but yet they're still bogus because the thread still contains the hyperlinks below. Additionally, you'll see they could be from the USA, UK, NZ and/or other places.
Third, yes I know that many of us do put hyperlinks at the bottom to go to websites of our own and it's to do with our sims, and not some place to do with a watch or car (for example). Also, some of these hyperlinks of these bogus member named users might be in arabic or russian.
Fourth, you'll find the average amount of posts they've made are about 5, but it does vary from 3-9 posts. Also, you'll see something of a familiar flow of how it's done. The bogus member might start the thread or be in the middle of it, and you might notice 1-3 different replys by the same or different bogus names.
Finally, here is list I believe almost for certain to be bogus members:
powelstag
editdesign
heavyrain
stifangibbsun
brevedecane
jeckbets
martingorero
stiven251
jack.19987
hartadavis
nevaeh.aaric
jeckronald
jackbency
russelbrooke
otisbirnoit
I'm posting this to save actual real members from clicking on those hyperlinks that could lead to viruses, spam or some other horrible thing. I didn't click on any of them because I know better, but if you just put your cursor over the hyperlink (without clicking) and look at the very bottom of your browser window, you'll see what and where these hyperlinks go to.
MYC, they got a good scam going here, so please look into this...
