Download my 1:1 pdf file http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=188
Select the area you want using the "snapshot" tool. Right click and select print. Make sure you select "none" in the page scaling. This will print out at scale then.

Anyone have any 1:1 scale cocpkpit measurements drawings of the Avro RJ family? would relly need something like that:p
Hi Timmi, I suggest you put this post in your own thread with a title of "Avro RJ sizes" and you will have a lot more people see it!

you mean scala to 110%?
autocadplease
10-30-2010, 01:44 PM
No. Scale should be 100%.
110% would make it 10% larger than the original.

If you have Autodesk design, then download the dwg file http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=187
The drawing is to scale so then you should be able to do whatever you want.

If you try to print the entire MIP on A4 paper then you will have a lot of pages to print out - no way around that. If you have access to a large format printer that is the way to go.

You said you have Autodesk Design. You can open / import DWG files with it http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/index?siteID=123112&id=8411823
Maybe explain again what you are trying to accomplish. Maybe I have lost something in your translations.
I am happy to help, even if I need to convert things for you.

Super2277,
I created some pdf files for you. What I did was tiled the MIP, MCP, Overhead and the Pedestal into separate files using A4 size paper. All you will have to do is print them off at 100% scale on A4 paper and paste/tape them together. The pages have a .25 inch overlap and have marks to help line them up. Then after you do that, cut the outline out and trace it onto your wood for cutting. Hope this is what you are after.
Either PM or post me you email address.
Note to anyone else: If these are of interest to anyone else I can upload them. Just reply or PM me.

Just print it out at 100% scale (no scaling) and it will print to the exact scale.
If you want to know the exact size (length x width) of the file, just look in the properties. I forget the exact measurements.

In Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader, under the "File" menu select "Properties" to see the file's attributes/size.
The page size of the file I uploaded in 92" x 120". Not many wide media printers can print a page that large, so you will need to use the snapshot tool. If you don't have it already, download Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download at http://get.adobe.com/reader/).

Sorry to be posting on a 4 year old post however I am looking for a pdf file etc. that I can print out a scale size 737 mip that I could glue on to base to work off of. (file could print out standard size 11 by 7 sheets when put together would be scale 737 mip) What my ultimate goal is to build a captains side panel (jetmax style) with my 19 inch monitor for instruments behind mip and 40 inch monitor for visuals adding a real autopilot at some point. Thanks in advance for any help suggestions.
