Hello all,
can someone give me please a good source for the strip.
Can't find it in the bay.
Stores in Germany are prefered because of the cheaper shipping cost. ;)
Many thanks.

Do you have a printer? If you do you can use Avery Shipping Labels (http://www.avery-zweckform.com/avery/de_de/Produkte/Etiketten/Versand_Etiketten) and print and cut them yourself. Depending on the length you may want to use Address Labels to save on cutting. Looks like the width of an address label 1" aprox. You can even find Sheets that will glow in the dark (http://www.texascraft.com/hps/home.php?cat=318). Not sure if that's prototypical or not but could make your pit easier to use when flying at night. Hey that gives me an idea for my placards. All black over the white label and the white will glow when flying at night..

PS: Do some test printing first on plain paper to get the alignment/color correct. No point in wasting sticker paper getting that right. One other thing. As the stickers are pretty small make sure you give yourself a bit more sticker to work with when cutting them out. As that will make it easier to remove the backing and get them in place. Then trim afterwards.

Hope that helps

Hi,

I used electrical tape, easy to cut with a craft knife, no "bleed" of the printer inks and easy to reposition if not quite in the correct position. I cut lengths of black tape and then lengths of white tape and stuck the white onto the black tape. I then stuck the tape onto the painted knobs and to ensure they stopped in place I sprayed with clear matt varnish / protection.
Seems to have done the trick...

Cheers
