Now, the title may have been a bit confusing, let me clarify. Ive been trying to find, with no luck, some airframes, e.g. cockpit sections of small aircraft, like cessna's or pipers etc etc, but i cant seem to find anything anywhere! Now im sure they are about, as aircraft get crashed, and therefore wont fly again, and they get broken up. Surely the nose sections go somewhere? All i seem to find is jets, jets and more jets :p Nothing small!

All i really wanted to know is if anybody here in the UK knows of places like this? And, if the thread is in the wrong place, sorry, but i thought this was quite a general question, that could help a few others, also looking for this kind of thing? Hmmm, hope i can be helped!

CheeRs,
Jordan

Hi,
Best way is to call or visit maintenance or repair shops near small airfields,
or look on ebay for guys that are selling small aircraftparts, usally they are parting out airplanes.
That is how I got my little plane, I phoned them for a small item and ending up with a Cessna 172 airframe.
