Hi everyone,

I am looking for some pre-interfaced Gauges. Not too particular, I'm not looking for Airbus Gauges though, just some Gauges like an AirSpeed Indicator, etc.

I did a bit of my own research and found some companies...

SimKits Gauges: http://www.simkits.com/products.php?groupid=37

Realitysimconversions Gauges: http://www.realitysimconversions.co.uk/our-products (Are these real aircraft Gauges?)

Opencockpits Gauges: http://www.opencockpits.com/catalog/gauges-c-48.html

Can anyone give me some advice on the companies mentioned in this thread? Who should I go for?

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience/thoughts about those companies?

I have SimKits and OpenCockpits Gauges. With SimKits, its simple; plug them in USB (interface included), install Software and it works, plus all in one box. OpenCockpits, no interface because you need seperate cards. Software is SIOC files and you have to figure out the programming for yourself. There are some SIOC files done, but still plan to learn.

Also, SimKits have lighting enclosed for night flights. OpenCockpits, no lighting.

Cost wise, Simkits cost more per gauge (but a complete solution). OpenCockpits, since you need seperate interface cards, you'll likely pay the same amount as SimKits when all said and done.

Thank you very much JKCombs. I had assumed SimKits would be the simplest out of Opencockpits/SimKits.

And what about RealitySimConversions?
