Hi guys,
I would like to buy one projector for FSX outside view. (Maybe one day ill get 3!??if wife lets me!!!) I have one 24inch LCD right now but would like to start using a projector.
Can anyone tell me whats a good projector to get? Maybe one that you use, and are very happy with. Ill be pluggling it into a ATI5970 card. My Sim room is about 17ft long.
Thanks

Hello Chris,
before someone gives you an answer, needs to know so more information, like your budget, your room's dimensions, lighting conditions, etc.
In example it woulb be better to have a short throw projector if you want a wide view from a short distance, or a high resolution projector according your VGA's resolution.
Check in this site : http://www.projectorcentral.com/projection-calculator-pro.cfm they have many reviews and reports and in the link there is a projector caclulator.
Good luck !!

hi
i currently have a dell s300 projector and the native resolution is WXGA (1280 x 800) i am interested in the BenQ W1060 which has a resolution of 1080p 1920 x 1080 WUXGA, will i see extra sharpness using the Benq as it is quite blurry using the dells300
thanks

Yes, it seems like its getting good reviews. The first affordable 1080p ST projector. Overpriced as usual in Australia when Amazon is selling it for $1100; you can probably import it for cheaper with the way our dollar is going!
I will be looking to invest into this projector, at least until someone else can come up with a more affordable ST.

yes but will have to pay 10% GST as it is over $1,000.
