Hi all of you.
I am totally new on this site and in this forum but it seems to me that this must be the right place to get the help that I need. I am, togehter with my good friend in the wery start of building a Boeing 777 sim. We have a CNC machine and are planning on making all af the panels etc etc ourselves. Lot's of fun and a pile of challenges:D
We therefor hope that some of you can support us with finished drawings ready for the Cut2D or just plain drawings with measurements for the complete 777 cockpit. If you have got 1 or 50 drawings does not matter. Just bring it on:grin:
Eagerly waiting for answers.
Most regards from winterly and cold Norway (perfect for simbuilding:D)

Hi Hubmaster and welcome to Mycockpit. You won't go wrong with the B777 but then again I am biased. I can't furnish you with CNC files but I can point you to these marvelous Austrian 777 builders and specifically their pdf containing most measurements of the 777 panels. There are no actual measurements for the overhead panels but you can figure these out by extrapolation. I can tell you that each panel is 184mm wide but their height varies depending on which panel it is. Have a look at the diagrams and you'll see what I mean.
HERE (http://www.project777.com/iddb/archiv562/61_archiv562_10563.pdf)is the link to the pdf. Scour the rest of their site and others they link to because there is a lot of info out there if you spend the time. And don't forget when it comes time to look at systems and panel software that Sim-Avionics (http://www.sim-avionics.com/) is the only choice for the 777. Take a look at my Flightcity link to see what can be achieved using Flight Deck Solutions (http://www.flightdecksolutions.com/) hardware and Sim-Avionics software.
Cheers and good luck,
Ken.

Maybe you can get more info here http://hispapanels.com/tienda/en/39-overhead-b777
Looks like they do list them in each section of the panel so that would work. Just peice it all together like a puzzle. Thanks again

If you know how big a part is you can calculate all others.

I got my measurements from here http://hispapanels.com/tienda/en/39-overhead-b777
With yours it shows 740mm wide and then the other measurements I found was 732mm wide. Total height was 725mm on yours and then 638mm on mine
Here's mine that I drafted. Just overall every measurement is different.

My dimensions were to cater for custom panels cnc'd by a friend of mine, you will need to do similar for whatever panels you end up using, they may very well be different. Adjust as necessary.
