Hello all
Here is the beginning of the L188 sim. <a href="http://s686.photobucket.com/albums/vv228/BlackWidow29/?action=view&current=2011-02-15_09-47-51_566.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i686.photobucket.com/albums/vv228/BlackWidow29/2011-02-15_09-47-51_566.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
The pilot and copilot panels are 24inches wide after finding the dimensions for a P3 Orion and careful study of the MIP on both the P3 and the L188 I believe that the my dimensions are pretty close to the real plane. The MIP from the lower portion measures 74 inches and is 17 1/4 inches tall. I made the pilot and copilot panels twice because when i read that the P3 orion copilot panel was 24 inhces wide and the pilot side was 20 inches wide i was sure it was a typo. After building the panels i realised that the P3 had some modifications done to the pilot side panel and the center panel had been stretched. So i had to re make the panels and now they look very close to what the real plane looks like. It helps to have an actual L188 manual to refer too. Its just to bad they did not include dimensions in those manual :).
