hello,
many thanks for the JL FMGS. Until now I have not dared to switch to FMGS JL.
Before this I have a few questions:
I have the FCU from CP Flight and for using the the Wilco Airbus I have an interface program (*. dll).
Is the JL FMGS also compatible with the CP Flight FCU or do I need an extra software interface?
I arranged some displays in the MIP on a 19" monitor (see picture).
I think some home cockpit builders does this too.
Is that also possible with JL FMGS or do I need to reposition each display again and again?.
Thanks ever for the answers.
PS: I find it awesome to use the FDS-A320-PRO-MX-MCDU with the new release of JL FMGS.

Hi,
I am about to start writing a dll file to interface my software with CPflight FCU.
It's quite some work, and I'm busy doing other things, but it will eventually come out. The biggest issue being I don't own one to test in realtime...
If you wish to be a beta tester, I'll contact when i have a few things to test...

Surely would I like to assist you as a beta tester.
Your work is very useful for me so I would be glad to help you.
Just tell me if you have something for me to test for you.

Ok, then i'll send you a PM when I have something to test, thanks.
I forgot to answer one question:
I arranged some displays in the MIP on a 19" monitor (see picture).
I think some home cockpit builders does this too.
Is that also possible with JL FMGS or do I need to reposition each display again and again?.
Yes it is possible, the position is saved when you close each instrument (UNLESS you use the starter application, in that case it won't save it, but it will load the lates configuration when manually close).
Cheers,

Hello, if you don't mind me asking - how is your cp flight compatibility coming along?
Is there an alternative fcu everyone else is using?

Hi,
It has been fully compatible for a long time now.

Hi JL -- I am unable to run the CP Flight FCU & EFIS with FMGS.
The FCU has been assigned Com port 3 and this has been set in the CP Flight Module.ini
Hardware connect displays the following:
*12:19:34 AM*:HardwareConnect Launched
*12:19:35 AM* CPFlight:Port opened
*12:19:35 AM* CPFlight:Connected
*12:19:35 AM*:C:\Users\Ben\Desktop\A320FMGS\Hardware Modules\CPFlightmodule.dll loaded
*12:19:35 AM*:C:\Users\Ben\Desktop\A320FMGS\Hardware Modules\FSUIPCmodule.dll loaded
*12:19:35 AM*:C:\Users\Ben\Desktop\A320FMGS\Hardware Modules\interfaceITAPI.dll not valid
*12:19:35 AM* JeeHell_IIT:Get Log Proc
*12:19:36 AM* JeeHell_IIT:End of Start procedure
*12:19:36 AM* JeeHell_IIT:MCDU DataLines Enable
*12:19:36 AM* JeeHell_IIT:Get SW Proc
*12:19:36 AM* JeeHell_IIT:Get Analog Proc
*12:19:36 AM*:C:\Users\Ben\Desktop\A320FMGS\Hardware Modules\JeeHell_IIT.dll loaded
*12:19:36 AM* CPFlight:0
The FCU remains cold and dark despite batteries turned on and EXT power connected. The software FCU is also loaded and started up on the client computer (where the CP flight FCU is attached).
I would appreciate your assistance, thank you.

Looks like I may have to perform a firmware upgrade, the FCU is running version 1.00.

Hi,
Sometimes the FCU itself crashes, and requires a reboot (unplug/replug the power supply ).
Do that after stopping the software, then start it again.

Oh yes firmware as well, I think it's now up to version 16.

Did you have another go with the CPFlight FCU?
