Hi all, I really got stuck building my sim this month as I have no ideas which panels to use for my 737 800 cockpit. first I made them with laminated paper etc (look at my other thread) but this didn't turn out to be satisfying.. then I wanted to buy a CNC - turned out to be too expensive for only cutting these panels. Then I wanted to build a CNC with my grandfather (engineer at BMW), I made drawings, plans, a model but it is simply too complex. Then I found out that my uncle can get access to a CNC machine in Leipzig but I figured I'd had to be there and that there is no simple FILE you can send them to cut out... I looked at the prices of Opencockpits, Symulatory, etc etc... but those Panels simply seem to be too expensive...I am somehow lost with this topic and would like to know what you did...
Cheers, Marc

There are some providers that such panels mill when the data transmitted online. Here you can download a program and order online panels. With a tool for pricing . There are certainly other vendors http://www.schaeffer-ag.de/de/download/frontplatten-designer.html

ok schaeffer looks good, I'll have a look at those - the files are very good and I'll ask my uncle if he can use those - I just found out VCaRVE is 450€.... :O Maybe I am lucky and it works out.
EDIT: Btw - does anybody have the files for the overhead?
Has anybody ordered at Schaeffer yet? if yes - can you show me some pictures how it turned out. I was planning to use white Acrylic Glas coated in RAL7011...
