Dual Grahpics Card, SLI, and FSX

Guys, I want two graphics cards. The place I was going to build the PC only offers the same grahpics cards and they are in the SLI formation. I don't want or need SLI as I will be using the second grahpics card for different monitors (as in a multiple monitor setup). Can I still accomplish this given the SLI scenerio?

You should be able to simply remove the SLI link I believe.

So I can get 4 monitors with two video cards by doing this? Can you explain how to remove the SLI Link? Thank you.

On second thought, I'll just stay with the SLI for performance and get a triplehead2go to meet my needs. Thanks anyways.
