Why are you not able to build a home cockpit?
My advice is to look at other builds, marvel at how wonderful they are and then build what you want and what suits your budget
Some of the cockpits you see on here took many years and many thousands of pounds/euro/dollars so dont expect to have one looking like that in a few weeks.
Start off small with maybe a wooden frame with a few monitors behind and go from there.
This hobby is a quiet stroll in the park on a Sunday morning, not 100 metres Olympic final. Take your time, make mistakes, spend a month building a frame then put it in the bin because it is not good enough........ it is all part of the fun.
One thing that I have read many times and agree with is ensure you can fly the sim as you build. I have been without mine for a few weeks because I am putting all the computer systems together and it is frustrating, also now none of my cables are long enough so I have to buy new ones................grrrrrrrrrrrr
Allan.
