CDU for Sale

The time has come where I have to sell the simulator parts. I have got my CDU up for sale.

Pretty much brand new, worked great a few months ago and I power tested it this morning.

Minor paint wear on the DSUS screws but that makes it look authentic. :) Bottom cut out a little so it would fit in the CDU bay. Looks brand new and you get to save some change!

Hi,
I got one of these units, the power supply and usb connection are a very bad design. Why did they put them there? I imagine the vast majority of these untis are sold to cockpit builders and it would have made more sense to have the connections into the rear. Even if you do not have a cockpit to fit these into you cannot use them flat on the desk as they are difficult to see, so they would have to be propped up.

I was going to do the same with mine but manage to build a frame around it, so it looks ok. I must admit that they are an excellent piece of kit and adds so much to the reality. I am sure someone will snap it up pretty quick....
The only thing that would put me off is that you put this in the auction....

Sold as is. This unit does not have any faults that I can see, as I last used it just a few months ago and power tested it just before creating this auction. No returns.

I would remove this as I would be wary of buying something so expensive with that clause. You know it works fine so there will be no problems..... but that would make me think twice.
