I have found a number of I/O boards but all their LED’s is based on if the switch has been toggled or not,
that leave me with the scenario where the FSX variable can be OFF but the switch has been toggled and then the LED is “ON”.

I am looking for a board that will light an LED based on the status of a flight sim FSX variable. EG if the landing light is ON in
FSX, I need to have an LED displayed it as ON, irrespective of any hardware switch position. I just want to create a custom
panel with LED's displaying certain FSX statuses eg for different lights
landing light
taxi light
nav light
strobe light
beacon light
panel light
etc..

That way I can quickly scan the LED light indicators and know whichever lights has been switched ON/OFF in FSX.

I want FSX to drive the LED indicator and not the actual hardware switch.

Any proposals how this can be accomplished.

Regards
Johan

Use an Opencockpits USB Outputs card. In a SIOC script you can read an FSUIPC offset with the information about an FSX variable, such as the lights, and use that info to drive your leds.
