WHAT HAPPENED!

My i7-2600K bit the dust the other day so I finally bit the bullet and installed an ASUS P8Z77-VPRO motherboard and i7-2700K CPU, 8GB Corsair Vengence ram. Installed a fresh copy of FSX on a 240GB Sandisk SSD. Running a TripleHeadToGo with 3 46" LCD screens my frames were 100+, even when I opened 2 more windows for the left/right views my frames were in the 60s. I was overjoyed. I quit FSX and reinstalled my registered copy of fsuipc so I could get project magenta up and running again. When I started FSX again my frame rates had dropped to around 10. What in the world could have happened?

No. or for Windows7? I did install FSX Acceleration. I also updated the Graphics driver for my 285 GTX but I can't remember if that was before or after the problem with FSX.

I meant FSX SP1 and SP2. But I think the acceleration pack installs these for you.
