Is there anyone who has had the same dealings with this company Cockpitsonic Englisch (http://www.cockpitsonic.de/) in particular the motorized throttle quadrant. After an email inquiry as to the availability and shipping, I was assured the item was on stock and could be shipped in a few days. Payment of 2,499 euros was made via PayPal to Broadway Cockpitsonic GmbH on 12 July 2012, that's seven months ago! About two months from the purchase date I received an email advising that the spare parts had been obtained and assembly would be forthcoming followed by its subsequent shipping. ALL email inquiries have been ignored except this.

Hello Brenton
i am very sorry to hear this...i remember this case very well...

I have not received any mails from you in the past that is why i am surprised...but i also know that we had many problems with spam and viruses...

Please conform that i get you right . you have NOT receive dthe throttle B737 ???

kin dregards

You are not the only one. Mathias is now selling without delivering to many people.

CS is a scam

Get your money back. File a PayPal dispute.

Sadly, a complaint must be filed within 45 days of payment, if you want to file a dispute. You can advise Paypal anyway so they can monitor the defaulter

Yep that's correct, Chris no longer trades Cockpitsonic in the UK, I believe he runs a flight simulation company under another name.

CockpitSonic was pretty much on a downward slope. Too much competition from guys doing a better job than them I guess. You can buy B737 parts almost anywhere now and there is some pretty decent quality stuff about WITH great support and after sales.

However, isnt' the poster talking about the German company and not the UK division?

Hi guys.
Thanks for viewing my post. The company is indeed the German one. These people would be pursued by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission to the ends of the earth and severely dealt with if they were in fact in Australia. But being in Germany it would seem they are immune to such action, however I have lodged a complaint with the German equivalent, the Federal Ministry of Consumer Protection as they are the German consumer protection authority and may be able to provide me with assistance in resolving this matter with www.cockpitsonic.de (http://www.cockpitsonic.de).
So far after ten days....no response!

Chris was only UK agent for Cockpitsonic Germany, but was doing a lot of his own stuff for some time. The new website is
Inflight Simulations - Home page (http://www.inflightsimulations.co.uk/)

Mind you, I've not heard from him in quite a while. We used to be in regular contact.

Regards
Pete

If its any reguard just ordered a full trainer from cockpitsonic.de Everything came as promised, minus a missing glass cover on my F/o side clock (anyone know where i can get one if they wont send it?).

The only compliant is that I was told 14 day lead time on 4/11 when i purchased it. I just picked it up here in the US yesterday and it was shipped on 5/22 from Germany. Emails have also been consistent with Mathias.

I guess the only way you can get anything from this mob is to buy the bloody lot!! Having said that I received an email from Mr Roehr assuring a new one is being prepared for shipment, "I want this to come to a good end..."

Myself, along with another member, have had a bad experience with FDS. They only seem to cater for pro builders, not amateurs like myself.

Try Skalarki. Marcin is a Great guy!

i have heard great things about Marcin but I'd like to have one supplier for everything. i dought his MIP and overhead will fit my FDS shell. Marcin does not offer sidesticks or rudder pedals.

Godatum - check out flybycockpits. I have their combined sidestick and tiller on order. They also sell airbus rudder pedals.

I would also also like to stick with one vendor but this is impossible when they do not have complete solution (with the exception of perhaps FDS, but they are geared more for the pro-sumer and are pricey).

Skalarki comes close to offering all I need but no mip frame or glareshield.

Site not yet fully set up yet, but they have some photos on hand.

Contact Vitor at flybycockpits and tell him you know me and he'll send you the pictures.

Got my A32x radio RMP fro CS (Matthias) as agreed. All work fine, although I find the buttons does not have the most comfortable feel to them.
But connects with both P3D and FMGS.
I did have a number of inquiries to understand the pricing of other products, which are still unanswered, but it has not been too long. :-)

The FDS products are priced very high amongst others because they are built for heavy duty use.

Feel I have to say a word or two here since I've been quite harch against CS during the years.
My concerns have been regarding 737 stuff and the lack of support to get things working. Over at the Prosim foras, not our CS Mathias, but another Mathias :) have stepped up and sorted out every single issue in coop with the Prosim team.
This "new wonder" is working for Uwe Schneider GmbH, the developer of the CS hardware cards and the EHID software to go with it. Mathias knows every in's and out's regarding the electronics and how to communicate with it, so he have been taking input on the forum and basicly sorted it all out.
When it works, it's really a good solution :D

Good luck
