FSX was running ok on my ASUS Z77 board but I was getting an occasional blue screen so I decided to go back to EVGA. Had to reinstall WIndows7-64bit and everything else but after I installed FSX and Acceleration when I try to load a flight, after loading the scenery it crashes to the desktop. Tried restarting the computer but it didn't help. I noticed that when FSX started before, I would always get a message that Windows was reverting to basic but I'm not getting that message now. I also disconnected my TripleHead2Go since the 680 supports 3 displays.

This sounds like the issue I was having, FSX installed on Windows 7. You might to install a .dll file in the root directory of FSX, it fixed my problems. The file name is UIAutomationCore.dll

Here's a good link - The fix to Microsoft Flight Simulator X crash on Windows 7 x64 - Ramoonus.nl (http://www.ramoonus.nl/2010/01/01/the-fix-to-microsoft-flight-simulator-x-crash-on-windows-7-x64/)

Found the problem. I didn't have my displays properly set up to stretch FSX across 3 monitors.
