Hi all,
I've decided to rebuild my 767 mcp interfacing all inputs and outputs to OC cards. I've gotten my displays to work, but when I hook up inputs, I run into problems. First of all, no matter what the input type, (switch, rotary, etc.) it makes the red LED on the USB Expansion light up, and the input number shows up in red in Controlador. Is this normal?
Second, when I hook up a rotary encoder, the inputs will show up in SIOC monitor, but they light up in sequence when I turn the knob. I.e. when turning it one direction, the following sequence will light up: 4, 4&3, 3, blank. What am I doing wrong?
For reference, I am using CTS288 encoders (288T232R161A2), 16 COM (4 pulse) 2-bit binary type. All of the inputs are being plugged into the J3 or J4 connectors.
Thanks in advance!
Steve
