what cable for MasterCard to usbexpension card?

hi, I was wondering if there is something specific about what cable I need to connect second card Mc to USB ex pension card I bought some parallel cable but it was male to male, guy gave m something called gender changer made 1 of male ends into female... well whatever bottom line it doesn't work so anyhow just wondering if cable has to be called exactly db25 male to female as opposed to just being parallel cable... ? maybe my cable is just broken its old second hand cable.. idk.. thx

You need a 25 way cable with all ways connected. Most parallel cables do not connect all pins. I use 25 way ribbon cable with IDC (Insulation displacement connectors) connectors at each end. Alternatively you could use 25 wires individually soldered to each connector - tedious though!
