Hi Guys,

Since around two years I work (more or less intensively) on my Airbus A320 home cockpit. As a usually silent reader I would like to share parts of my project you might be interested in.

We started with a simple 3D volume model of the pedestal box. Shape and sizes base mostly on the original documentation with very slight adjustments to make panels fit.

Next step was to model the outer metal parts.

And then design the inner section of the pedestal box.

At the end we had the complete pedestal box as a 3D model on our computer.

-------------------------

The major problem was now to convert theory into reality. So we started a distress call on our website and Ben from Dresden/Germany) answered. From now on we worked together and Ben helped a lot to finalize the construction data.

We move forward. Hopefully we can show first images about production…

Cheers
