Hi,
Just received 3 sanyo pro pl-xe40 projectors, I want to set up a 225 degree view,
The problem I have
the room is 240 cm wide 220 in Hight and about 350 cm long ,
and holds a Cessna section,
leaving me with 60/70 cm in front and about 50/60 cm either side

I have search the web for suitable programs ,
but can`t find any info regarding minimum Radius(need something around 120cm)

What are you looking for the program to do? Do you need it to calculate the zoom distances for each view, if so you need the WindowMaker program. If you need the curve distances and setup, you could get the Immersive Display Lite v2 and Immersive Display Design to setup your images before actually doing so.

Otherwise, the best option is to draw everything out on paper, where you start with the center eye point, which is usually the center of the cockpit and about where a pilot/copilot's eyes would be looking forward in a normal seated position, and about where the throttles are (that's in a B737, so a Cessna would be about the center of the two seats).

Additionally, do you have the projectors' throw distances/sizes and ratios/resolutions based on them. Why? Assuming you have wide screen 16:9 ratio throws, you'll know that the image is wider than it is taller, with 4:3 ratio it is more square, and since your post does not say which ones you have, it's hard to advise. Also, in different ratio modes you can actually get more or less sizing, but the pixel resolutions you select can affect that sizing as well. Some projectors won't change the throw size (lengthxwidth, not distance) when changing resolutions, but the change affects the pixel size and that will change the blending of three projectors...assuming, you're blending and not just butt edging them.

Finally, the only way you will know for sure is by mounting them onto a piece of plywood and mount that to the ceiling; thus, you can move all 3 projectors at the same time (forward and backward) to find the right location (if need be). Albeit, if your Cessna is in the room already, you'll find it a little harder to get around with it there. Some builders setup the projectors in an empty room first, if at all possible; otherwise, get two ladders and a friend too help you...

Hi , thanks for your reply
I can switch to both wide and 4:3 ratio and have 0,6 throw and digital zoom,
However I`m not sure how to build up the screens ,
Can I just put the screens like a U and let software do the job, or do I need to have them wrap around in a 225 degree angle.

An another question I have is this ,
I`m building a 2 dof platform (nearly finished!) and is it pos. to have a fixed horizon in FSX, the projectors are hanging on the ceiling.
mind I will not have the a cockpit in vc or 2d as they are hardware build from Simkits.

Just looking to have only a prop and wingview

Hi , have Immerse Lite 2(trial version) ,
Have the 3 projectors set up using matrox hardware and warp the visuals ( curved screen radius 1,25 m) no problems there,
the problem starts when I load FSX ,in the Lite2 menu I can see FSX. I can see the dll file located is Fsx
but FSX and desktop are still unwarped,

I have treid both 4:3 and 16:9 set wideview in fsx config to true

So I now I have the pro version(trail version) set up, and have no problems with warping and flying, and can use the desktop warping
why is Lite 2 not working , I have followed the tutorial several times but no solution

my pc specs
I7 2600K 250 gig ssd ,asus gtx 580 .matrox 3 head to go analog win7 64

it's Breez to set it up, and I'm very happy with it
