Referring back to 6/6/10 - Jack's post: "Guide to the BufferPools Tweak" seems to have lost interest among the forums, perhaps being incompatible with new hardware and software. Can we update Jack's tweak recipe so we know the whole story?
The utility nHancer is no good with nVidia drivers above version 256. I believe that makes it useless with the brand new nVidia cards. But is nHancer absolutely ESSENTIAL for the "Zero Bufferpools" tweak? If it is, the tweak is now headed for the cold, cold ground.
Similarly, the software UIAUTOMATIONCORE.DLL is recommended only for Windows 7 (64). Will the DLL fail under an XP environment? Is, therefore, a Windows 7 (64) operating system absolutely necessary for the "Zero Bufferpools" tweak?
Thanks!
