Hi to everyone in this forum!
I will building an Ilyushin Il-62 home cockpit with exact dimensions.
1. Order components as the prototype of analog instruments.
2. Building and test each one instruments with stepper motor.
3. Order an CNC machine
4. Order different such as plexi, metal, wood, etc.
5. Building each instruments that is in a real cockpit which are navigation panel, flight engine panel, main panel, overhead panel, and other panels.
6. Final, building home cockpit of wood.

Sounds awesome! Just curious, do you know where I can find a good simulation of the IL62? It doesn't need a VC, just systems depth.

I am wondering why you asking a simulation of Il-62 when you are building HS748 ?

My HS748 cockpit is still a WIP. Not yet practical for use, as all I have is the electrical systems panel and a partially cut MIP.
I still sim casually, and while I've logged almost 75 hrs in the 748, I also fly other aircraft. I have a love for Soviet aircraft, and am constantly on the PT Tu154 and the SCS Tu124. I've always wanted a decent IL62, but could never find one with the flight engineers panel or good systems simulation.

Now I understood. You can travel to Stölln in Germany and measure this. If you pay me just 143 $ which is half if the cost for one person. Tour costs 3500 for two persons because I will travel with a friend. Thus, I can measure EACH instruments and buttons, switches, EVERYTHING for you and me. Because it costs to take flight from Bergen, Norway, to Berlin, Germany.
I have asked they who are responsible for the airplane for the permit to measure. They said yes. So that's why I am ready to building Il-62.

I forgot to add, you can find partially simulation of Il-62 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004; there you can find navigation, main panel, overhead panel, but not the engine panel. If you and I do not know, we can asking in a russian forum how each instrument works and what they are for.

If I had the right information, I could put together a full panel for it.

An small update.8527
I wondering a short time how to attah a motor to a thing that I do not need to let it stays on the table with confusing wires.
This metal box is a liver pate, original since 1949 in Norway, which is a food item for the bread; this metal box I will using for prototype for instruments. The prototype for instruments will be attached to a wood plate.

I would just use a monitor to display the instruments, it usually looks pretty good if you have high resolution gauges.

There does not exist Il-62 gauges for X-Plane. Just partially in Flight Simulator 2004 now but isn't finished yet and will be released to FSX/Prepar3D (if it works). I do not like gauge with pixels.

I found a much more complete panel:
http://www.avsimrus.com/f/fs2004-aircraft-panels-41/panel-for-project-tupolev-il-62-24802.html
I tried it in FSX, the results were not good. They're not xml gauges, so I can't fix them. You should probably get FS9 and use it there. 727 builders ghet FS9 so they can use Dreamfleet.
The gauges in the panel look very high detailed, I think the effect will be quite good if you use them on a screen.

I know about this airplane; that's this airplane I'm talked about. I do not accept gauge with pixels in the cockpit unless if it is PFD and such.
