You need the Overhead and the Pedestal as 2D Panel?
PFD, ND, FMC and EICAS exist as 2D.

It can't be done.

I create 2d panels and xml gauges, and I can tell you that you can't simply add a 2d panel to an aircraft without one unless all the elements you need are in 2d. All the Korry switches are modeled in 3d with logic that cannot be extracted for use with 2d panels. If it were the other way around, as in a 2d panel with no VC, then it could be done. You'll have to wait for the 2d panel upgrade. I think I heard about one coming up.

An easy way would be the FS RECORDER freeware. http://www.fs-recorder.net/ http://www.fs-recorder.net/

Generate a new view, move the new window to the Overhead monitor. Then select Custom -> FS Recorder VC. Select the right position and save as new situation. Recorder FS stores the new window with.

Pays attention to your Frames.

Hi skino, thanks a lot.

I know that way, I avoid it in the past just when I noticed there is a harmful effect on the frames (especially I already use more that 6 undocked panel). I dont need my frames to drop more down that I get now (17Fps).

i am really wait for that upgrade, really there is some users need the 2D panels especially the olders.

I'm writing an external overhead for the PMDG 777 using the SDK. But will still take a few weeks until I can show something that also works.

I will write for the PMDG 777 is a small software suite for control all in the SDK published buttons and switches via keyboard or joystick (Bodnar, Arduino). This will be payware, but no more expensive than $ 20.

While I'm writing my own 777 software, but that will take some time and I already use finishd software components for the 777 suite.

A complete external autopilot with hardware interface I've done, but as payware on a customer, so unfortunately I can not publish it.

The first test version of the overhead is completed next year, so in 3 or 4 days ;) . The download will then be available here if interested. The overhead is freeware.

About a cheap PNY Quadro I control 4 monitors, on an Nvidia 8800 2 more. The EFB in the sidewall is an Android tablet. The pedestal is controlled by an old laptop (2 monitors).

just one thing, in the PC shown in pictures, i've seen each port connected to cables give two DVI heads.
in other hand, how i can use one DVI port in my GTX680 to show the picture on two monitors by cables splitted to two Dvi heads.
i need to use one DVI port to show the picture on two monitors like yours. !!!!!!

This only works with certain graphics cards, such as for example PNY Nvidia Quadro.

In my NVIDIA GTX680, i have one port can give me two DVI's outputs.
thats why i am asked,
look abd focus SKINO, i have two graphic cards, The projector (BenQ w1070) is connected to DVI port ( in the 1st graphic card ,GTX680 ), the OH 46inch monitor is connected to the second DVI port (in the same card).
then the second graphic card which is ATI HD6970.
two monitors (to show the PFD & ND on both cockpit sides) are connected to duplicated splitter device to the first DVI port in the 2nd graphic card (ATI HD6970), then another monitor to show the EICAS's is connected to the second DVI port in the same card (ATI HD6970), then another monitor is connected to mini display port also in the second graphic card (ATI HD6970) to show the both FMC's.
Finally a 32inch LCD monitor to show the pedestal is connected to HDMI port in the second card also (HD6970).

do you see this complex connection, thats why i am asked when i've seen your pictures, i've seen one DVI can give two DVIs so that why i asked you !!!!!

if you have any another idea to connection and make it easy as possible you're welcome.
