Cockpit-Fest USA 2014 is being hosted by the Cold War Air Museum, Lancaster, TX. August 29-31st in conjunction with the August 30th Dallas/Ft. Worth Commemorative Air Force "Warbirds on Parade" and car show.
Cockpit-Fest USA 2014 will feature privately owned aircraft cockpits and simulators restored by collectors from across the USA. 2014 is also introducing a race car simulator award!
The Friday evening Social will feature food in a museum hanger with friends and a competition for the best illuminated cockpit/simulator.
Awards presented will be:
■Cold War Air Museum – Best Aircraft Cockpit: Prize, a flight in a Nanchang CJ-6A
■PilotEdge -Best functional Aircraft Simulator: Prize, a flight in a Nanchang CJ-6A & a six month Pilot Edge subscription ($100.00 value)
■Cold War Air Museum – Best non-functional Aircraft Simulator: Prize, a flight in a Nanchang CJ-6A...
■Best Race Car simulator: Prize, $50.00
■Nthusim – Exhibition Award: Prize, Nthusim Plus software ($489 value)
■C&A Messenger – Spirit of Cockpit-Fest Award: Prize $100.00
■Most Extreme Restoration Award: Prize, $100.00

The Cold War Air Museum flies two Russian Hind helicopters and other Soviet era aircraft from their hangar complex in Lancaster, TX.
