Flying back an Egyptian Air A300-600R this morning I noticed that the wing
was all 'rippled' (picture attached). Does anyone know the cause, and is
this normal? Not really comforting to look at.

Well it is a British wing but perhaps it is getting a bit old. I haven't
flown in one of those but I often wonder why a 747 wing doesnt ripple like that
after watching the tips go up about 10 feet as they start to support the
weight on take-off :-o

Did you ever sit in a B777? That wing is like rubber, swaying up and down
in
a sickening way. :-)
