Hi JL and others who may be having this issue...
The problem of a single PC being seen as a remote PC was solved in my case by doing the following... (Thanks to Les!! Legend!)
1. In the ..... Roaming directory, make a Microsoft / FSX directory (bear in mind this is if you are using P3D)
2. Place the FSX.EXE file in here (also in the P3D main directory)
3. Placed the simconnect.xml file here as well (have it also in the P3D roaming directory)
Now when i un-tick the box and push save there are no errors.. although i seem to have to change it everytime... BUT it works.... so happy days!
Thanks to all for your help in getting this resolved
Regards
Doug
