FDS MCDU Display stays dark

Hi all,

I'm trying to get an FDS MCDU working with JL.
If you test it by using the original CDU Control driver it works fine(Buttons work,Display lightens up). If i set it up with the ITTCreator i have two problems:

1. The CDU Display which is configured as a second screen in Windows stays black.(No Windows desktop image or anything else)

2. The CDU makes double entries if i press a button. As an example i press 1 and what i see is 11.

It would be great if anyone could help.

I would also be interested to hear how well FDS' mcdu performs with JL fmgs.

Hi Daniel,

Not sure how you set it up in IITCreator. Just to make sure, you only need to right click on it in the left list, then select CPT or FO MCDU.

The physical display stays off as long as you haven't launched the A320 software and FS.
As for the double entries this is strange. I know people use the FDS harware without any difficulties at all.

Thank you for your reply. It was just some overthinking on our part. We tried to assign the buttons manually when we really just had to choose "MCDU CPT". This caused the display to not turn on and the pushed Buttons to write it to the software twice.
As it comes to the MCDU from FDS it is amazing and works fine with JL.
