MCDU starts but has errors everytime!

A strange one that has only just occurred... I start FMGS after the flight is loaded as always, and power up only to find every time now that the MCDU is erroring out in that it doesn't load any navdata despite having the correct files for this and have been using them for months...

I close FMGS then restart but to no avail, always the same xxx when comes to active database...

How do i fix this as most frustrating indeed!

It takes several minutes to load the navdata, let it wait then the XXX disappear...
