Hey all! I am making an overhead panel for a B777 and thanks to some measurements I got from kit0074, I have created an Adobe Illustrator file that I'm going to use as my template.
Basically, my plan is to take a sheet of plexiglass and have the template printed on an adhesive foil. Then, I'm going to print a few of my "backlight mask" (see the .ai file) on transparent foil. I'm going to very carefully line these up and put them all together and then onto the plexiglass. I'm not sure yet if I want to try to breakup each section into smaller pieces of plexiglass or not (in theory they'd be easier to work with).
Anyways, I just thought I'd share the template I've made in case it would be helpful or useful to anyone else :) I took only a few artistic liberties or places where it may be different from the actual overhead panel (like the Cargo Temp being directly above A/C). These changes were just for ease/space (I'm not building a full cockpit) and also to help make the design better match my 777 Worldliner Professional in X-Plane.
Enjoy! Let me know if you have any questions or find major errors.
Preview (I don't recommend using these for actual printouts):
