WLAN instead of ethernet

Hello,
I´m considering using cheap windows 8 Tablets (Touchscreen and computer all inclusive) Problem is : no Ethernet, only USB - LAN converter available, which, I`m afraid has a big speed penalty.
Has anyone tried to run FMGS Software on several computers using WLAN only ?

Hi,

i am using cable based LAN computers mostly, but the FO side (PFD, ND, CDU) runs on a WLAN connected laptop. No problems with and not more diisconnects than the cable systems.
