Hi all,

I am having FMGS entering an odd condition from time to time.
It is basically a complete loss of control.
The speed tape is all ovre the place High and low, and the FMGS commands full up elevator (both elevator and Trim).
Obviously the plane baloons and from a FL360 it climed as high as FL430 before dropping down.
I have OpusFSI wx suspected of being the culpit creating some odd weather profiles.
But FMGS must react on something to go into this odd mode.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I have combined the VC from Aerosoft A320 with JeeHell (all gauges removed), but I doubt whether that could make a difference in this regard.

Hi,

Check the outside air temperature. If it's too high (over ISA+40°C), versions before B40.x may have that exact issue.
The issue may happen only at higher altitudes (if the OAT stays at 15°C at around FL200...).

Thanks JL.

Will do. That is a huge comfort it may be the software :-)
In the latest flight it happened precisely as you say around FL200.
I did have a similar incident around FL370 when I was flying in the eastern US for the nationwide VATUSA event.

This is not really a problem in my software in the first place, it is not normal to have more than ISA+40°C as OAT, this would mean the issue is in your weather software...

:-) Understood - as I mentioned I suspected Opus to be the culpit triggering something...
