pokey56u lcd support

dear people.

i have a issue whit my lcd module hooked up to my pokey 56u.
my lcd module doesnt want to start up. not even light up. ( in pokey software, ofcourse i enabled. and setted to pinset 1!)

i hooked it up as followed, anyone can see what i did wrong?

pc - pokey56u
vss - grnd
vdd - 5v
rs - 29
rw - 28
e - 30

d4 - 26
d5 25
d6 24
d7 23
