Hi!

I'm building a new PC for the flight simulator (P3D). I have all components together (i7-6700k, GTX970, 32GB RAM), but I'm not sure what to chose for storage. All options are possible. I don't have a SSD at the moment, so I can not compare the speed effects to my hard drive

1. Only one SSD and everything installed on it.
2. One SSD for the OS and a hard drive for scenerydata. Where would I put P3D?
3. Only one hard drive for everything.
4. Or whatever...

Thanks for your opinions!

I'm just going to tell you what my setup is- I use a 250gb Samsung Evo 840 for my OS and a couple of programs that benefit from the extra speed (Photoshop, Illustrator) and a 500gb Samsung Evo 850 for FSX and REX. I also have two regular Toshiba hard drives for everything else (1gb and 500gb). I would recommend having a separate SSD for your OS and P3D. SATA SSD drives have gone down a lot in price since the launch of SSDs that use the PCI-E bus, and are insanely fast. But you pay for it. I would stick with the SATA SSDs, as you will still notice a huge speed increase in load times.
