Dear All Phidget users...
Alan Dyer has released a new Phidget software version which has a new txt
based editor file. This means doing away with MSAccess files for the database.
The main advantage of this is that the Phidget software is no longer
dependent on you having Access or a particular version of Access if you require
adding / editing to the database.
I have done some initial tests and found that it is working well. If no one
has already done it, I will also begin to compile a list of pmSystems
offsets (and other pm related offsets) to a primary source file. (if anyone has
done this already let me know!)
The new software is avialable from www.phidgetsusa.com cockpit section.

Great, please share it with us.
I also tried the new software, and it works, but some better variable names
wouldn't hurt, it takes ages to find out what is what...

This is good news Jonathan.
I also did some preliminary testing and was quite impressed. I was able to
connect my SideSticks and Rudder to the analogs and IT WORKED, properly!
There does seem to be a couple of bugs, which I'm sure Alan will correct,
shortly.
Johathan, or anyone else; let's not just have a list of pmSystems
offsets.... let's get the whole PM Offsets. It certainly would make life a
lot easier for this builder:)
And... anybody have a way of converting the MDL files into the TXT version?

Hi
Enrico and I are looking into that to see if it is possible or not. If it is,
it will save me a lot of type and pasting.

Hello, Jonathan,
Would be great, because the complete offset story isn't so easy for guys who
aren't used to interfacing.
Great program. I definitievely will use Phidgets for the rest of my cockpit
interfacing, except of my glareshield (Aerosoft MCP747/EFIS/EICAS.
Ciao
