Multi-type attic cockpit

Hi all,I'm taking delivery of three 50" TVs tomorrow and will be trying to fit them into a pretty cramped attic to make an immersive cockpit. While dismantling my existing setup I made a quick video on how I organised the connections on my G1000 suite so that I only need to unplug 4 connections to remove it, making it very simple to disconnect when not in use. At the moment I have interchangeable G1000 and touch-screens for non G1000-ops, and I can switch between Airbus-style throttle and the Saitek quadrants for going between jets and GA. The jewel in the crown is the 180-degree curved screen. Nothing I ever did increased immersion more, though there is better to be done there for lots of reasons. I'm going to rebuild my sim - was going to be this year but I need to wait for GPUs to be available as I will need to build more PCs, no point in taking down a working sim until I can replace it. I currently have the Emuteq G1000 hardware + Flight1Tech G1000 simulator, but I've bought the Simionic bezels and some iPads (they're in boxes until the new project happens). The goal is to learn the lessons from the current system and go for more interchangeability and generic solutions. The big difference is my setup is in my back bedroom, not my attic. Though I do plan to put up a building in the garden and move it all out there and build a much bigger screen and (finally) a proper shell. I'll keep an eye on your progress. Looks like I'll be cool when it's done!

Insert a single break tag to start a new line. Insert two break tags to start a new paragraph.

Break tags are 'less than symbol' followed by letter 'b' and letter 'r' followed by 'greater than symbol'.

Use 'carriage return' when composing your post and add tags where necessary. Copy and pasting the tags speeds things up.
