Evening all,
I've been helping a friend try to get his PM software suite working with the
777-200ER model that Virtual United offers based on the Maljet. The issues
appear to be many, from questionable climb rates to redlined engines.
Is there something inherent in the above aircraft config file that makes it
incompatible with Project Magenta?
Have others run into this situation as well?
Appreciate your insights.

Did you make an aircraft txt file corresponding to that FS model?

Hi Katy,
I downloaded and inserted into the CDU the meljet file from the PM website --
aircraft files. Is there something else I should be doing/modifying?
Cheers

I do not know who made that file, it may need modifying from what you
reported, you would need to check values in the aircraft.cfg file vs.
the aircraft txt file...

Thanks Katy,
I have checked the .txt files between the default and the Meljet -- the TO
and CLB files are identical. There are minor differences between the two cfg
files.
Just wondering if he somehow has an interaction going between the PM A/P and
the stuff in the Meljet config. The default aircraft works fine.

We will have to re-visit the aircraft config files in general...
