At last the waiting is over. I want to build my glareshield before hooking it up but I will document the process, maybe another product review later on.

While the cats away and it's 37 Degrees C in the shed, no I made the bracket in the shed but took the pics inside. I do a lot of work inside when its too hot outside which will hopefully be over in about 2 months! I've made more parts for the glareshield today and will update my gallery album again soon. I can't put my new toys down, too scared to plug it all in!!!

It is -40C Today.... A little chilly. I have a friend that lives in Louisianna and he is sure that is why American's never took over canada. (who would ever want to live in a cold desolate wasteland) :)

For those of you in the USA -40C is where the Fahrenheit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fahrenheit) and Celcius thermometers meet. -40C = -40F

I would kill to have +32C right now..

I will never get used to the metric system...my simple mind just can't grasp the concept of 37 degrees being hot :p

LOL. Funny if my us Friends tell me that it is 100 out, I just know that is hot.

Thats the best part about my post -40C = -40 Fahrenheit Easy for americans and Canadians.

For the record.. When I build things, I still work in feet and Inches. :) I do not understand Gwyn when he tells me his MIP is cut with 145mm squares :)

I can work in either system. I've gotten quite used to the metric system and I find that I like it better than imperial measurements.

It's much easier adding and subtracting in my head than inches and feet.

I will work in the metric system as long as what I'm working on is dimensioned in metric.

These sums are the same, which is easier??? My 9 yo boy can do the metric one in his head. Aussies converted to metric 40 years ago when George W Bush was just 1138mm tall. I have to admit that I still use an imperial lathe with it's increments in thousands of an inch, I had to learn both during my apprenticeship but the imperial system has way too many mysteries to fit into my calculator!

I have to agree, Metric is much easier, I'd rather work with metric. MUCH EASIER. We were supposed to change over, but it never caught on. I don't get it, it's as simple as counting money :)
