hi guys,
well after about 7 years in the F.S scene its time to bow out,my wife and i have decided to have a change of lifestyle and as such the cockpit will be sold off, either as a complete item or parted out,
any uk boys who would like to finish her off and to be honest theres not a lot to do now at all, drop me a line, with an offer
or fly before you buy,the pit will fit in a space 85 inches high by 98 wide, and will fit through a standard up and over garage door,(has to be taken off to get in in,)
its a bit sad but ,the call of a new and easier life is strong,
will put the old girl on ebay ,but wanted to give someone the chance to adopt her first,
lol
cheers
steve

That's a big surprise Steve, we will miss your contributions. I take it you no longer require my overhead bitmaps. All the best in the new sim free world.

Just remember ... this sim stuff takes a lot to shake off and I have a hunch we will see you building again.
Take care out there and we WILL see ya again !!

If you are getting out of the sim I hope you are climbing into a real cockpit. Kitplane maybe?

Steve, that is really a hard choice you mus have made... sorry to see you go.
If you are going the parts road, the TQ would be for me :)
Take care and drop us a line where the new easy life is going to be.

Well Steve that is a real shame. But you have to do what you have to do. I hope everything works out well with you. And you know, you don't have to have a cockpit to drop by and tell us how you are getting on in life! Good luck my friend.

many thanks for the kind words,i havent dared go and sit in the sim since deciding to sell it,its just too heart breaking, anyway i have a new digi cam on the way and on arrival i will start taking pics and see if she will fly on ebay, before that though i will take her for one last gear up flight and enjoy all the work thats gone in to the sim over the last few years,
keep up the great work,im trying to see if i can salvage some sort of setup to fly on line with once i settle in to my new place,
bye for now

Hey man sorry to hear that. Hope everything goes well with your future endeavor. Is it a 737 sim? If so, how much would you sell the throttle quad all assembled? Just curious is all.
