Here I'm working on building the incandescent light bar for the Captain's side MIP. Since I had to build the glareshield, I had to build the required lightbar. The center section light bar was included with the glareshield rack, so I just copied Boeing's design. The 28VDC bulbs are operated at 24VDC.

Here is an image of the MIP using the softer incandescent lighting.

And here, the brighter, harsher fluorescent lighting. I guess this is what is refered to as "Thunderstorm Lights".
The Captain's side f. tube was added just after the incandescent bar was installed. Quite a contrast in lighting effects.
