hi,
i just wonder what the max. flight range of an 737NG would be without passangers?
how far would you get from EDDF heading to Asia?

depends on the type.
Heres a nice range chart starting from london:
http://www.boeing.com/commercial/737family/pf/pf_rc_london.html
With the 737 BBJ the range is much wider (more fuel tanks) and Asia can easily be done.
here's a nice brochure with the range of the BBJ series:
http://www.boeing.com/commercial/bbj/presskit/start.pdf
or here the BBJ flash site:http://www.boeing.com/commercial/bbj/index.html
there are range charts there, but i cant link directly to them.
In case of an emergency, in a sim you can refuel with the press of a button ;-)

...and if you're really wealthy you can have Boeing install the refueling mod.
Now all you need is a tanker on station and be able to fly to the boomer. :)
looking at that range it just goes to prove that the I dont want to build a 747 because I dont like longhaul mentality is invalid. There is quite a feeeeew hours worth of doing nothing but crossing fingers and flipping pages if you go to the full capabilities of the 737.
