Hello,
I would like to build a nice sturdy set of rudder pedals with "good feel".
I purchased some dampener springs, that when compressed have resistance then rebound all the way back. Setting two of these springs ( with my basic knowledge) in a manner that centers the rudder pedals is not easy, and in retrospect, I think I should have purchased springs that center to the middle, and can be both pulled and pushed and will then revert back to there center position. These would be very easy to set up the rudder pedal to also self center.
Does anybody know of a source to springs that have such movement?
OR can anybody suggest a design of rudders that uses regular springs, but has good feel?
Thanks,
Polmer
