This week two friends joined me and we made a big step to the completion of my 737NG Cockpit!
Here are some pics showing the progress (still a lot of work remaining, e.g. stowing the cables,
coming from the overhead panel :-))

Yes, Bob, we made the first test flights already this week. Some functions have been triggered only via a keyboard, because we are still missing some parts like CDUs and others. Should be here and complete in about 4 weeks.

ROFL.. I am close but still very far from completion on my pit Andy. Still looking for a couple CDU's and I have to populate my MIP with more panels and switches. But getting there.

Those are awesome pictures. And me, heck I don't even like airliners. Still, beautiful work.

@ Gwyn: Thanks for the offer, but I have already a tiller, just waitin' to be installed ...

Thanks guys for your warm replies, it was a hard time with a lot of ups and downs, I learned a lot about material handling, electronics, trouble shooting, and nevertheless about me... Also I had to give a lot of pressure to my suppliers (Now I know, why "liers" is a part of the word supp"liers" :-) )
But this is, I suppose, an experience I am sharing with all cockpitbuilders, isn't it?

Once the virus has infected us, there is no way of healing, no vaccine available until the work is done and you pull the first time 15° pitch  !!!

Very nice work Rene. Your right about the supp'lier's' comment. I too have learned a lot during my build. Probably the most important is, nothing is impossible to do with enough time and patients.

We can finish :???:

hehe, seriously that is one amazing piece of work. I have been showing the pics around the office, a lot did not realise it was a sim until I showed them the wide angles. Cleared up a lot of people who kept asking why I want a home cockpit, I think they finally understand :)
