Re: Searching for German Airbus A320 Trainer

    Hi Tom,
well, i´am far away to call me an instructor for A320, but i have some know how in procedures for this plane and for the cockpit-flows usually done by airlines. Attached you can find two links to files on my online drive.
One contains the original Pilots guide for A32x MCDU from Thales, who is the original manufacturer for the real one used by Airbus Industries.
The second one contains a PDF presentation study training from Airbus Industries for the flows usually should be done by the cockpit crew. It shows how the systems of the A32x are used from cockpit preparation to landing and how the workload is usually shared between PF and PNF(Pilot monitoring).
Maybe you know these already, but anyway it gives a very good idea about the Airbus-Philosophy and the according Cockpitsystems.

    Hi Gleichi,
Just took a look at your site and have to commend you an excellent use of Touch screens in your pit. Also your
sim looks amazing. Congratulations on a job well done.
I am attempting to use a 19" monitor that i have attached a iR Touch screen overlay to. It works very well but have a couple of questions i would like to ask.
    1. I see you are displaying the Lower O/H and it is full screen. I do not seem to be able to pull it out to get full coverage. I seem to have a a large blue area at the bottom. Can you tell me how you did it?.
    2. How do you get access to the Upper O/H?
    3. I have been considering adding a second 19'" touch for the Upper O/H. Have you considered this?
I look forward to your comments. Any tips would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Les

Upper OVHD is smaller than Lower OVHD. For that you have the blue area.
We have sized the Upper OVHD same width the Lower OVHD. But height sized so, that no blue area is show.

Upper & Lower OVHD Panels are in the touchscreen overlap. I need only to tap a area in Upper OVHD to access them. When i want to switch back, just tap the Lower OVHD.

Sure. Why not? You can have a 22/24" touch for Lower OVHD and a second 19" touch for Upper OVHD. Just do not forget the 2 touchscreens should be affiliated on 1 computer. Than you can safe the position of the Panel and via windows-autostart starts you alternative OVHD automatically

    kind regards
