Free Keylogger for mac??
okay so, i know about that other post where people didnt tell of any because the guy seemed suspicious.
but i am 15, and my mom has gone crazy. we all have separate accounts.
i dont do any bad things with computers
so yesterday my mom got pissed at me. on our mac, running leopard, where i have all my stuff stored, me and the parent username are administrators. Well, she demoted me as administrator, changed ALL the passwords on the computer, even mine, and now my account is parental controlled. i cant even log in from 11:00 - 8:00. i cant do anything. and now my favorite websites are blocked and my programs wont work. Is there ANY WAY POSSIBLE to ovveride her control? is there some keylogger or i have no clue some hacking program? i finally guessed the password to my brothers account, but that accound doenst have the things i use the computer for. But, can i do something from that account? it is a standard account. shes completely gone crazy.
ALL i need to do with a Free mac keylogger(like this one but it's too expensive that I cant afford) is find her password, and just undo all her parental controls.
thank you

Re: Free Keylogger for mac??
If you can get your hands on the install DVD that came with the mac, you can boot up off it, change her password, log in to her account with her new password and then in System Preferences / accounts, you can edit yours or her access to your account. In doing so you will have locked her out of her account. But you will regain control of you mac. I would imagine that this will escalate this situation. Maybe there needs to be compromise in the use of the computer. It sounds like she has some fears and might be a bit overprotective and overreacting. With out overstepping my bounds, it might be worth showing what positive things can come out of your use of the computer (Like the healthy and constructive community of MyCockpit.org). Maybe offering a bit of transparency in your computer usage might calm her fears. I had a crazy mother once, sometimes she still is, but what I learned was when it came to technology, helping her understand what I was doing helped her get over her mistrust.
Again, I hope I did not overstep my bounds.
Cheers and Good luck!

I use Actymac DutyWatch as keylogger. It's not free but has a trial version. It's very functional program I think.
