    CDU + RCDU

Hi, I am running 2 Engravity CDUs together with PM CDU and RCDU program.
Just to be sure: at the bottom of the casing, right of the USB connector, there is a small switch, with two positions: left and right.
Can someone explain to me, which position is for the CDU and which one is for the RCDU usage?
    Thanks a lot
    Ren

UPDATE: Disregard, the switch at the bottom has nothing to do with the CDU or RCDU side, I have red this somewhere in the cockpit builder forums - this is wrong - Robert sent me a mail about this!

Can you please advise about the e-mail sent from Robert ?

I will install also a second FE CDU this weekend (if I find the spare time) and I was wondering how. So if the switch has nothing to do with the F/O side, what is it this switch then ?

    Re: CDU + RCDU

    Hi Nick,
    Engravity support wrote to me:
This switch has nothing to do with selecting the capt or F/O. This switch is used for firmware updates and should never be switched, otherwise the CDU will not work anymore.
Selecting the F/O cdu ( rcdu) should be done in PM.
    Cheers

    Re: CDU + RCDU

both cdu's will be assigned their own comm port by your computer when plugged in, in PM.ini you assign the correct comm port to the pm software.
the microswitch indeed is only to switch to/from firmware flash mode.
