CP flight MCP failure at 3500 feet
Hi guys,
I am having this problem of late with the CP 737 MCP rs232 version switching off at around 3500 feet. It come s back on around 1900 feet. The backlighting still works and I can still control the PM MCP via its graphical interface. When the CP unit comes back on it is fine with all the windows showing correct data. It works fine all the time apart from this low altitude window. Now at th sametime I lose all inputs to the PM flps gauge. The actual flaps go to the commanded position but the gauge stays at what ever the setting was at the time of the hardware failure.
Using driver 305 on a Win XP machine. The PM MCP is installed on the same machine and both connect to FS9 which is on a a separate WIN 7 PC.
Regards
James

James, have you contacted CPFlight support or PM support?

Re: CP flight MCP failure at 3500 feet
Hi JWS I posted on the CP forum a week or so ago. I havent contacted PM as of yet as I still think its hardware or network related. I m going to do a reinstall tomorrow of the CP driver and double check with a different flight model. Its a strange one.

The CP forum is allright but my experience is that sending an e-mail to Paolo or Claudio works faster.
